Behavior Support Services:
Behavior support services are helpful to people who have developmental and intellectual disabilities when they have learned and adopted the use of challenging behaviors rather than effective behaviors to cope with the stresses of their daily lives. When these challenging behaviors interfere with their personal growth, participation in treatment programs, and achieving their potential for full and meaningful lives, Behavior Associates can help with the services listed above.
Mental Health and Psychological Services:
Our goal is to bring clients to a deeper understanding of how their behaviors and decisions impact their experiences, and with this insight, facilitate meaningful changes that will allow them to experience optimal health with more balance in their lives and relationships.
Autism services:
The incidence of children and adolescents with Autism seems to have increased in recent years. Autism is considered a type of developmental disability. A new school of specialized treatment for autism has become accepted as an important service for people with autism – Applied Behavior Analysis. Applied Behavior Analysts are professionals who have earned certification from the National Board of Applied Behavior Analysts and have been licensed by the Kentucky Board of Applied Behavior Analysts. Behavior Associates has several staff who have achieved certification and licensure in this specialty.
